Plan B

When Plan A doesn't work out, there's always Plans B, C, D, E & F that Victor can fall back on. We received the court decree today! Tomorrow (rather than today) we will leave at 6:30 a.m. to go to Zaporhyzia, Tokmak, back to Zaporyzia and then back to Berdyansk. We are working on updating passports and having the court decree apostilled. As of right now, we (ALL) will be leaving for Kyiv on Wednesday by bus (8-9 hours). I"m looking for the most economical travel and that's it. I'm not sure if I will have time to post an update tomorrow, but I will try. If not, I'll post again when we get to Kyiv.
Love you all!

You're on the downhill slide now! This week will fly by. Glad the court decree came without any hitches. Plan B sounds like a good one. Keep us posted. We're on pins and needles.

LOL...I remember a day we implemented Plan F!! Never say never when Victor is at work...he will always find a way! I hope you have safe travels around southern Ukraine as you gather all the documents needed to come home. Hopefully you can sleep on the bus.

You're in the home stretch now! Soon you will be crossing the finish line!! We'll be there waving flags for you!!

Blessings!!

Tanners,
I enjoyed so much reading your blog today. My wife and I have an appointmet with SDA on July 31 to adopt a 14 year old girl from Ooglegorsk. My wife is there now as part of a mission team from our church that is doing work at the orphanage. She is having a few opportunities to spend time with our future daughter. So far so good. Another couple form our church are there to adopt a brother and sister that are teens. Even though they have known them for a year, the girl has decided she doesn't want to be adopted. The couple are very sad right now. Theya re going to try one more time to pursuade them. Please pray.
Keep your blog going, because we want to know how things go back here in USA.

Hi Joy,

We are praying for you every day that things will go smoothly. Take one day at a time and you will all be home soon. Logan, Austin and Mason are excited to meet their new cousins. Please tell the children that we all say hello and can't wait to meet them.

Love,

Leigh
